Woods Fort Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Troy, Missouri.
The course, designed by Jerry Loomis, first opened for play in 1994.
Woods Fort Golf Course was built on gently rolling hills, so you can expect some uneven lies. The fairways are relatively wide and generous, and the greens are average to large sized and most have several undulations. Water hazards come into play on four holes.
The par-72 course plays to a maximum distance of 6,404 yards. The forwad tees measure 4,889 yards. The longest hole is #5, a par-5 that plays to 510 yards. #12, the 127 yard, par-3 is the shortes hole.
#7, a 345-yard, par-4, requiring a shot over a creek to a well-bunkered landing area, then an approach shot to a small sloping green guarded by a lake in front and out-of-bounds on the right is the #1 handicap hole. The easiest hole is #12, the short 127 yard par-3. The signature hole is #17: a 298 yard, Par 4 . You can choose to attempt to drive the green, a carry of some 270 yards and over a lake with stacked boulders on the front side of the green. Or you can lay up in the generous fairway and then maneuver the water and boulders.
